Air Intake

Modified air intakes, fitted pleated filters behind headlights, 3" inlet pipes from filters into 3" elbow onto intake manifold, now the engine is receiving a high volume of good cold air instead of the preheated air off the radiator. |

Modified air intake throttle bodies, machined bore out from 63mm to 70mm, added larger dia butterflies from XJ40. |

With
the possibility of fire from a leaking fuel hose, it was time to eliminate the risk and change to fuel rails.
Ed Ward in Melbourne has done a great job fabricating the fuel rails with all necessary fittings,
saves a lot of work and machining.
You can use XJ40 injectors, or Falcon EL injectors (reasonably priced from wreckers) |

| To obtain a better spray pattern from the injectors, I fitted new injectors that had been modified by Alex Blackson my Wolf Computer man to a 4 hole spray pattern, producing a much finer mist with greater spread |
